2019
Directly at the beginning of the year, the construction work of the planned jetty investor was started in full. The aim of the project is the creation of a new infrastructure for loading, unloading and storage of large quantities of raw materials in the existing tank farm. For Deutsche Ölwerke Lubmin GmbH the demands are always on highest quality and the customer satisfaction in all areas at the highest place. For this reason, the company undergoes regular certification by regulatory organizations as well as customer audits. In September 2019, the company received re-certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Another milestone: The company welcomes the 100th employee.
2018
In the spring the third construction phase took place. The project started with the construction of a new logistics warehouse with 4,850 parking spaces. This could already be released for use in August. Furthermore, the tank capacity was increased to more than 8,000 m³ by the end of the year. The company currently employs more than 80 people.
2017
In the course of a steady company expansion the planning of the third construction phase was started. This includes the construction of a further logistics hall, the expansion of blending, filling and tank capacities as well as the construction of a ship's feeder. During the planning phase, the laboratory was also equipped with new equipment. To improve and standardize the work processes, the changeover to a new ERP system took place.
2016
The company's business model is based on the production of high volumes of lubricants meeting the highest quality standards. Several hundred thousand euros were therefore invested in a laboratory for the quality inspection. This was officially accredited in 2016 according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. The resulting optimized and regulated processes have increased corporate performance and reduced errors and costs. Furthermore, the constant monitoring by the strategic quality management enables the long-term assurance of the service quality as well as the customer satisfaction. The end of the year was the environmental certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2009, a guarantor according to which Deutsche Ölwerke Lubmin GmbH with its environmental management system incorporates environmental aspects into the entrepreneurial decisions in a proactive and systematic manner. At the end of the year, the number of employees rose to 67.
2015
Increasing order numbers made the investment in additional storage capacities necessary. Another novelty: the private label business. For this purpose, we also invested in two semi-automatic bottling plants. In addition, there were new appointments in the areas of sales, production, product development and logistics. The 50th employee was welcomed to the company in March 2015.
2014
In May 2014, Deutsche Ölwerke Lubmin GmbH was certified for the first time in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015 with the aim of always offering customers and business partners high quality. Thus, the work received the most widespread and most important standard in quality management both at national and international level. In order to cope with the rising order situation, the two-shift system in production was introduced just one year after commissioning. Furthermore, new bottling plants for small containers (1 to 20 liters) were installed in October 2014. In this way, the annual capacity could be increased to 50,000 tons. The number of employees rose to 30.
2013
The first construction phase lasted until the first half of the year and ended in August 2013. On September 13, the plant was officially opened for the development, production and marketing of state-of-the-art lubricants. A total of 18 employees in various departments such as the laboratory, production, filling, storage and administration started their work.
2012
On July 9, 2012, the foundation stone was laid for Deutsche Ölwerke Lubmin GmbH. In the presence of Harry Glawe, the Minister for Economic Affairs, Construction and Tourism of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a milestone was set for the economy in Western Pomerania. Lubmin is characterized by an optimally developed infrastructure. The diverse transport routes allow the best possible logistics. The total volume of the major investment was more than 10 million euros.
